Our Story
Vball Indoor Academy was born from a dream — to bring every athlete in South Beach the opportunity to grow, compete, and believe in their potential through volleyball. We saw the need for a place where players of all levels, from beginners taking their first steps to those pursuing high performance, could find guidance, support, and inspiration under one roof.
Our academy was created to meet that need, offering a clear and structured path for athletes to develop their skills — from initiation and grassroots training all the way to elite competition.
Driven by passion and a deep love for the sport, we’ve built more than a training program — we’ve built a family. A place where respect, discipline, teamwork, and community come together to help every player discover the power of dedication, the joy of improvement, and the confidence to go beyond limits.

Meet Our Coaches:
Fredy Cedeno OLY - Owner and Head Coach at Vball Indoor Academy
Fredy Cedeno is the Founder and Head Coach of Vball Indoor Academy, bringing over 15 years of professional volleyball experience to the development of the next generation of athletes.
As an Olympian at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and a four-time World Championship competitor, Fredy competed at the highest international levels, representing his country with excellence, discipline, and pride.
After retiring from professional play, Fredy spent 11 years coaching in Miami, where he became a respected leader in the volleyball community, known for his ability to develop young talent and build strong, competitive teams.
For the past three years, he has served as a Club Director, combining his deep technical knowledge of the game with strategic leadership to grow successful programs and elevate athlete development.
At Vball Indoor Academy, Fredy leads all training and coaching efforts with a clear vision: to create a high-performance environment where athletes grow technically, physically, and mentally. His extensive experience in AAU tournaments and national qualifiers allows him to prepare players for elite competition and guide them toward collegiate and international opportunities.

Yenser del Nogal - Owner and Head Coach at Vball Indoor Academy
I am a former professional volleyball player with over 25 years of experience, proudly representing Venezuela on the international stage in numerous FIVB tournaments. Throughout my career, I’ve competed at the highest levels, achieving significant success in both national and local events, including standout performances at the prestigious South Beach competitions.
My deep passion for sport extends beyond playing. I have developed a strong background as a coach, with extensive experience in both indoor and beach volleyball. Over the past year, I’ve completed more than 40 advanced certifications through USA Volleyball, staying up to date with the latest methodologies and training programs approved by the federation.
Currently, I hold an FIVB Level 1 certification as an Indoor Volleyball Coach, and I continue to dedicate myself to the development of athletes by combining my high-level competitive experience with modern coaching techniques. My mission is to inspire and guide the next generation of players, sharing the knowledge I’ve gained from decades on the court—both as an elite player and as a dedicated coach.
